This category includes News that are regularly published on the Climate-ADAPT homepage. It informs about the latest EU policy and EEA activities, the activities on the European Climate and Health Observatory, new features on Climate-ADAPT, EU research and assessments as well as national projects with relevance across the EU and transnational, national and local adaptation activities.

In this section of Climate-ADAPT news can be shared that

• describe new or recent activities relevant to climate change adaptation including human health related aspects in Europe
• are relevant to climate change adaptation policies, research, and practice
• refer to activities in the European Commission and EEA member countries or global activities that have direct relevance for EEA member countries
• are of wide interest to decision-makers at EU, transnational, national and city level
• are provided by a well-established, recognized, and reliable information source and associated organization
• provide a URL for further information, which should be available in English.

This might include: relevant outputs of projects funded by the EU, outputs of national-level projects with a relevance across the EU, examples of cross-border adaptation or developments in national adaptation plans and actions and relevant events.

Researchers, intermediaries, governmental and non-governmental organisations are expected to provide proposals for this type of content. Please note that ‘News’ can additionally be promoted through the quarterly European Climate Change Adaptation Newsletter once they are published here on the Climate-ADAPT homepage as  ‘News’.
